Other Ways You Can Help

Thank you for your interest in Bethel Colony of Mercy, Inc., and the transforming work the Lord Jesus Christ is doing in the lives of the men He brings here.  Below are some other ways that you can help the ministry of Bethel

First and foremost PRAYER for all staff and students at Bethel at any given time. This is our most urgent need and is a constant need.  The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. James 5:16

Kitchen:

Canned vegetables: pinto beans, green beans, sweet peas, black-eyed peas, carrots,
corn, great northern beans

Canned meats: chicken, tuna

Meats: beef, pork, turkey, and any type sandwich meats

Other: cereal, grits, oatmeal, powdered milk, macaroni or rotini noodles, paper towels

Seasonings: garlic powder, seasoning salt, etc.

Lawn & Garden:

lawn mowers, weed=eaters, bale straw, back-pack sprayer, chainsaw files, 2 fiberglass 24′ extension ladders

leaf rakes, water hoses, golf cart, small pump sprayer, lime for yards, de-icer, shovels, hard rakes

wheel barrows, 2 cycle oil, walk behind spreader

Medical Room:

cough drops, Ibuprofen, peroxide, aspirin, acetaminophen,

cold medicine (no nighttime), thermometer, naproxen

AED (defibrillator) (~$1700)

bathroom size – Dixie cups, sugar tester

Building/Maintenance:

2×4’s, 2×6’s, 2×8’s, 2×10’s, battery powered or electric tools, skill saw, sawzall, drills

8 & 16 penny nails, screws of all sizes, paint for new dormitory (under construction)

paint brushes, rollers, etc., ladders – 8′ 10′ 12′, levels, hammers, all types cordless tools

multi-meter, inline pipe cutter, tap and die metric and SAE, tug-along brazing set

digital thermometer, solder iron/gun, easy outs

Office:

pens – black and red, 3″ 3-ring binders & dividers, white-out (bottles & pens), office chairs

copy paper, manila folders, manila envelopes (small and large), card stock

post-it notes – all sizes, re-writeable CD’s, business cards, floor mat for under office chair

3×5 note cards, high-lighters, 3″ x 4″ labels, spiral notebooks/notebook paper,

CD labels, rechargeable AA batteries, cash receipt books, phone message books, Portable CD players

Housekeeping:

brooms, pillows, twin bed sheet sets, kleenex tissues, mop buckets & ringers, towels

washcloths, cleaning supplies – scrubs, bleach, etc., mop heads, mop handles, shower mats

Laundry:

extra large capacity heavy duty washing machines (6 are needed)–$400.00ea.

gas clothes dryers (10 are needed) – $538.00 ea.

Computer:

computer supplies,
parts, etc.
used and or new computers

Automotive:

computer tester, auto electirc repair kit, drop lights,

floor jack, rachets 3/8 – 1/2 drive

Worship Center:

sub-woofer for sound system

Miscellaneous:

large window a/c units – $400.00

 small window a/c units – $130.00

We have provided prices for the more costly items if purchased new.  If you would like to give a financial donation toward the purchase of a specific item please make sure you specify the item you want the donation to apply toward.  Otherwise, it will be applied to general donations.  If you purchase the item(s) you can bring or mail them to the address provided on the contact us page.  We will mail a receipt to the return address on all items sent to Bethel by mail unless otherwise specified.

We will welcome used items that are in good working condition.  If you have any items listed above that are used or if you have any items you would like to donate that you do not see on this list please contact us so that we can make sure they will meet the needs of Bethel.
